Going through some old stuff I found these two Hess trucks in excellent condition. No boxes. You can easily find pictures of these, and probably still find the original commercials on YouTube to see all the features.
2002 Flatbed with biplane
I've seen these in two versions. It's an old-timey truck. (1950's maybe?) The wings on the biplane fold out for flight. Some pictures show these looking like a new toy, bright white. This set is one of the few I've seen with an original antique-ish faux aged yellow/ivory tint. (It's not faded. It's the intentional color of the plastic to make it look faded.) Everything works as designed except the propeller on the biplane. (A quick check online reveals that's a common issue.) If it matters, the motor might be fixable, or if not, replaced. It's like a zillion other toy motors, and replacements are available on Amazon. (There is voltage at the motor, it just doesn't turn.)
2003 Race car transporter with two formula cars
Great shape, everything works fine.
These were stored with batteries, with just enough juice to show they worked before they gave up their last gasp. Battery contacts are completely clean. If you want to see these operate, you'll need two C batteries for either truck, one AAA for the biplane (actually I might have some of those) and two LR44/A76 button batteries for either formula car.
These are a great way to either start, add to or complete your collection of Hess trucks. I'd rather sell both sets together ($25 for both), but $15 each if you only want one.
