I’m offering a lease transfer for a private bedroom in a fully furnished 4-bedroom, 2-bath apartment at Chestnut Square (3200 Chestnut St). The lease runs from January 1 through June 30, 2026, and ends at that time. There is an option to reinstate or renew the lease afterward directly through building management.
Rent: $1,434/month, utilities included. Rent is per bedroom and individually billed, so if another roommate moves out, the rent for the remaining residents does not increase, each tenant is only responsible for their own portion.
The apartment is mainly home to college students attending Drexel and UPenn. It comes furnished with a full-size bed, desk, chair, sectional sofa, coffee & end tables, dining table with chairs, and a full kitchen (fridge, oven, stove, dishwasher). Building amenities include a fitness center, on-site laundry, rentable movie theater, secure entry, and professional management.
There are three other male roommates (ages 19–23). Roommate assignments may shift as people move in and out, which is typical for Chestnut Square. From my personal experience, the apartment environment has been quiet and respectful; roommates generally keep to themselves, and I haven’t encountered party-heavy behavior.
The building is conveniently located close to Drexel and UPenn, with easy access to transit, restaurants, and shops along Chestnut and Market Streets.
For additional clarity to the Posting Details: this is a private bedroom within a four-bedroom unit, with two bathrooms total and two residents assigned per bathroom. Laundry is available on-site at $1.50 per load. Street parking is available directly in front of the building, and there are also off-street parking options, including lots and garages, within walking distance. Tours are coordinated directly through Chestnut Square management and showcase a model unit rather than this exact apartment; however, the layout, furnishings, finishes, and amenities are representative, and the same standards and features apply to this unit.
