Aunt Dee" (for "Della") is what my furry clients call me. I love animals and am a loving, dedicated, focused, and reliable dog boarder. I enjoy getting to know my furry clients (usually dogs up to 70# or so) individually, showing them lots of affection, keeping them safe, mending their favorite stuffed toys, and routinely providing their owners with daily text updates and photos. My 26# cockapoo is an excellent co-host, and we have a lovely, fenced-in backyard in Bloomfield (see attached photo) where the pups love to run, explore, and play together under my watchful eye. Generally, I only board one to three dogs at a time so that each mutt is treated with very personalized love and respect. This is quite the opposite of some other boarding situations where your dog might be subjected to a lonely kennel or crate, a cement gym, and to the fear and anxiety that a chaotic roomful of excitable dogs and strangers can cause. With Aunt Dee, your dog may board by the hour, the day, overnight, weekly -- whatever you need. I always meet with any potential client and their dog in advance at my home to make sure you and your dog are comfortable here and that your dog gets along with my own dog. And I will need written confirmation from your veterinarian that your dog is spayed or neutered and that her/his vaccinations are up-to-date.
