Playboy "Midnight Pearl" acoustic guitar with a beautiful glossy black spruce top, mahogany back and sides. It was expertly designed by Steve Clayton and authorized by Hugh Hefner. High quality Grover tuners and a 20 fret rosewood fingerboard with the Playboy rabbit head trademark logo in mother of pearl. The bone nut is 1&11/16" and the rosewood bridge has a bone saddle. Sound hole has alternating Playboy rabbit head and bow ties circled inlay in beautiful mother of pearl. Stunning purfling borders, this well crafted guitar is the same size as a Martin 000-28 model and it is in near mint condition. The string action is excellent and the tone sounds brilliant.
Guitar is basically new old stock. Guitar has never really been played other than for a few minutes, to photograph it. Guitar is in very near MINT condition with maybe a few very light swirl marks that weren’t completely buffed out from the factory. Must see these in the right light at the right angle. Neck is straight and frets are fine. Guitar plays well and sounds very good.
These PlayBoy guitars were a limited edition run about 20 years ago and are now sought after by collectors!!!!!!!
