Here is a truly Beautiful, American made Gemeinhardt 3SS Solid Silver Open Hole flute, in Excellent Condition, just back from being fully serviced. These Advanced Level Gemeinhardt flutes were made from the 1960’s through the 1980’s and feature a Solid Sterling Silver body (not Silver Plate) with solid Silver keys. They are a little heavier, as a result, than other, plated flutes, but benefit from a richness of tone that you just can’t get out anything less than Solid Silver. The contemporary Gemeinhardt equivalent is the 33SSB Flute, which sells for over $3500!. This particular 3SS dates from approximately 1976, and does have a Low B-foot.

This flute was in great condition when we received it, but has had a full servicing none the less, with the action adjusted and any leaks corrected. Check out the photos and be sure to zoom in on them. There are no dents, no dings, and no scratches to the silver. This beauty looks just about new, and plays like a dream.

The 3SS comes with its original, leather covered hard case, and a second, padded leather soft, zippered case cover.
