Associe Attorney – General Liability (Hybrid)

We are partnering with a growing defense litigion firm to identify an Associe Attorney for its General Liability practice in either Doylestown, PA or Jersey City, NJ. This is a hybrid role with strong mentorship, hands-on litigion experience, and long-term growth potential.

This opportunity is ideal for an torney with approximely 3 years of civil defense experience who wants to deepen their litigion skills in a supportive, well-structured environment.

Associe Attorney – General Liability - The Role

Under the guidance of experienced partners, the Associe Attorney will manage a diverse caseload of insurance defense and general liability mters, gaining exposure to all phases of litigion.

Associe Attorney – General Liability Responsibilities include:

• Managing and billing a caseload of approximely 25+ mters
• Drafting and responding to pleadings, motions, and written discovery
• Attending and defending depositions; taking depositions
• Making court appearances and tending hearings
• Assisting with mediions and trial preparion
• Collaboring directly with clients and internal legal teams

Associe Attorney – General Liability Qualificions

• Active Bar license in good standing in both PA and either NJ or NY
• J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school
• 3+ years of civil defense litigion experience, preferably in:
  • General Liability
  • Insurance Defense
  • Labor & Employment
  • Property/Presises
  • Casualty/Personal Injury
• Experience handling multiple mters simultaneously
• Strong written and oral communicion skills
• Comfortable working independently while meeting deadlines
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and standard legal technology
• Valid driver’s license

Mediion or trial experience is a plus but not required.

Associe Attorney – General Liability Compension & Benefits

• Salary range: $115,000–$155,000 (commensure with experience)
