About Our Family:
We are a busy, down-to-earth family of four with two young children (early elementary and preschool age) and a friendly cat. Both parents work outside of the home, so our days start early and move quickly. Mornings can be full, and by the time we return home, having a space that feels calm, reset, and taken care of makes a meaningful difference.
Our home is naturally tidy and well cared for. We are not looking for heavy cleaning, but rather someone who can maintain order, keep things moving, and help everything feel under control behind the scenes. The biggest need is support with the daily reset. This includes keeping the kitchen and common areas in good shape, staying on top of laundry, and helping the household run smoothly overall.
Meal prep is also an important part of this role. We are looking for someone who enjoys planning and preparing simple, healthy meals and snacks for the week. This helps ensure that lunches, dinners, and grab-and-go options are ready and makes our evenings feel easier and more relaxed.
We value clear communication, consistency, and a respectful, low-drama working relationship. We are straightforward about expectations and believe feedback is an important part of working together. You can expect it to be direct, constructive, and focused on helping things run smoothly. We also welcome feedback and appreciate someone who is comfortable sharing what is working well and where we can improve as a team.
This role is important to us, and we are looking for someone who is interested in a long-term partnership. We value someone who takes pride in their work and feels a sense of ownership in helping our home run smoothly day to day.
Who You Are / What We’re Looking For:
You are an experienced House Manager or similar professional who genuinely enjoys this type of work. You are confident in managing the day-to-day needs of a home, including household organization, laundry, light cleaning, and meal prep. You are comfortable planning and preparing simple, healthy meals and snacks, and can take ownership of grocery shopping and kitchen upkeep. You understand how to step into an existing home and quickly get a sense of what needs attention.
You are a self-starter who takes initiative and does not need to be micromanaged. If you see something that needs to be done, you handle it. You are organized, reliable, and consistent in how you show up, and you take pride in creating a home that feels calm, tidy, and well run. You communicate clearly, are receptive to feedback, and are comfortable working in an environment where feedback is shared openly and respectfully. You also feel comfortable speaking up and sharing input when helpful, contributing to a collaborative and professional working relationship.
