We are currently accepting applications for the position(s) of Full-Time & Part-Time Sweeper Driver/Operator and
Full-Time Diesel Mechanic with applicable experience to repair sweeper trucks.
Duties & Responsibilities:
• Perform required inspection of Sweeper, Pre-trip and Post-trip.
• Review scheduled routes assigned, be proactive in asking questions if the route is unclear.
• Perform the safe operation of a Sweeper Truck.
• Complete assigned jobs) in the time allotted, while maintaining quality of work.
• Exercise extra caution during inclement weather.
• Report any equipment failures, near misses or accidents to the Supervisor.
• Overnight travel may be required.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
Essential Job Functions:
• Requires work performed in outdoor environments.
• Exposure to variable and adverse weather conditions.
• Exposure to noise, vibrations, jarring, fumes, grease, oil, & chemicals. • Active, physical work involves occasionally; lifting (50+ Ibs), carrying, pushing, pulling, stooping, kneeling, crouching, bending, reaching. Frequently; walking, standing, and driving and operating
equipment for extended periods of time.
Job Requirements:
• Legally able work in the United States.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid Driver's License.
• Able to pass a background check.
• Ability to speak, read and understand the English language.
• CLEAN Driving Record -will need to run MVR.
• Knowledge of applicable state and federal laws, rules and regulations.
• Equivalent work experience closely related to the field of work. • Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with fellow employees, other companies,
and the general public.
Preferred Requirements:
• At least two (2) years within a related field of work.
• At least two (2) years experience driving and operating sweeper trucks.
• Valid Commercial Driver's License Class B with air brake endorsement & medical card.
