Classic white pitcher and wash basin set, often referred to as a washstand set or commode set. These sets were commonly used in bedrooms before indoor plumbing was widespread, serving as a personal washing station. This set is in wonderful condition considering its age with no chips, etc.

Dimensions: Pitcher is 9" high at the highest point and has a 9" wide opening. Bowl is 15 " in diameter and 4" deep.

On the bottom of the bowl there is a backstamp featuring the text "SEMSORCLEAIN" along with some symbolic or deorative elements. "SEMSORCELAIN" could be a variation or misspelling related to "Seymour MannPorcelain", a known brand of fine china and decorative items, particularly vases and other household goods.
