Hand wrought iron fireplace trivet, 8" diameter, 3 7/8" high; three iron legs with curved foot. Legs riveted to rim. Most likely 18th century. These were placed on a fireplace hearth, hot coals raked beneath them, and a frying pan or pot placed on them to cook with. Pick up preferred or buyer pays actual shipping costs.
