Antique Rod Back Side Chair ca. 1790 - 1810

This ca. 1790 -1810 Rod back, plank bottom chair showing bamboo form turnings was completely disassembled and professionally repaired using old school hide glue. Repainted with traditional green milk paint with a light distressing.

Antique originating from the United States and bought in the Philadelphia area, this chair is a unique and historical addition to any interior room, adding a touch of vintage charm to its surroundings.

36” high x 19 ½” wide with a seat height of 16” [very minimal leg wear]
