I bought this used, pretty recently — turns out some of the things I wanted to do require a newer macOS than this officially supports. I'm not one to do that aftermarket os-hacking stuff, so I'm just gonna grab a newer used machine once I sell this one.
The refurb place I bought this from was great — they put an aftermarket newerTech battery in it, and it's got very few cycles on it, so it's got tons of battery life (as much or more than when these machines were new, because the aftermarket battery tech is slightly more robust than the OEM)
