About us: Yedid is a 34 y/o nonbinary person who works as a Jewish musician and ritualist and is attending social work school. Alla is a 27 y/o from Russia studying comparative literature. Jules is a queer 30 y/o union organizer. We are all white Jews. We’ve had folks of a variety of backgrounds who have lived in this house, and anyone is super welcome to reach out if they’re interested. We have Jewish rituals and Shabbat dinners, but it’s more about your comfort level with those things- no one is required to participate!
About the house: there's a nice backyard and a sweet porch, a spacious living room, dining room, and kitchen, and a room at the back of the house we turned into a breakfast nook. The room available is $675. There are four bedrooms total, and they are all on the second floor. There is one full bathroom on the second floor and a half bathroom on the first floor. There is also a basement with lots of storage space that we often host guests in. No cats, unfortunately.
We are looking for folks as soon as possible and are down to prioritize flexibility on timing for the right fit.
