We are 4 fun-loving and community-oriented young adults looking for one roommate to join us in a lovely house a block from Clark Park. It's a five-bedroom, 3.5-bathroom with tons of common spaces, a porch and a backyard. We are looking for people who are LGBTQ+, BIPOC and POC-friendly, who are excited to cultivate a community atmosphere, and who enjoy having friends over for potlucks and game nights. The year-long lease will begin on September 1. More photos and info are available upon request.

The House:
This is a four-story fully furnished townhouse with a living room, a family room, a dining room with beautiful natural light, a great updated kitchen, and a fully finished basement suite. There are hardwood floors throughout the house, high ceilings, lots of light, ample storage space, washer-dryer, central air and lots of charm. There is a spacious front porch with a swing overlooking South 43rd street and a back patio/yard area with a firepit that is ideal for growing a garden and having outdoor gatherings.

There are three bedrooms on the third floor and two on the second. Each floor has one full bathroom, though the third floor bathroom has two sinks rather than one. The open room in the house will be one on the second floor - the cost is $980 per month.

Updated with modern conveniences:
- Kitchen includes granite countertops, refrigerator, stainless steel appliances, dishwasher, and microwave.
- Updated half bath on first floor, two full bathrooms on second and third floors, as well as full bathroom in basement with rain shower.
- Pets are generally not allowed by the landlord, though animals are welcome to visit for the day
- The basement includes a fully finished suite, which we reserve for friends/ family/guests who are visiting. We hope our 5th roommate will enjoy having guests and help us continue this tradition!

The home is fully furnished, with the exception of the bedroom you will be moving into.

A bit about us:
Natalie (she/her) I am a 27 year old Computer Science Ph.D. student at Penn. I love games, nature, bad movies, karaoke, and spending quality time with friends and family. I’ve lived in this house for three years, and have really enjoyed the community within the house and its location near Clark Park. Both of my siblings live in Philly and I love having them over weekly for game/ movie nights, which other housemates often join in on!

Jaimie (she/her, 25) is a social studies teacher and grad student who enjoys video games, travel, and books (though not necessarily reading them).

Isaac (he/him, 25) is a third year law student at Penn and enjoys biking, being outside, fixing things, and grilling in the backyard with friends/roommates

Zoë (she/her, 23): I recently graduated with my MA and work as a climate justice organizer. I love to travel, read, crochet, go on walks, take care of my plants, make giant batches of soup, and many other grandmacore hobbies. My favorite thing to do in the house is share meals together and chat on the porch!

If you’re interested in the house, please respond to this post and include your answers to the questions below!
- Why are you interested in living here?
- If we had a potluck, what would you want to make?
- What do you enjoy doing in your free time?
- (Choose 1 or both:) What is the best game you have ever played? / What is the worst movie you have ever watched?
