One Pennsylvania is launching a campaign to build our membership base, building our power to raise the voices of everyday Pennsylvanians in the fight for economic justice and political participation. No matter the issue, we work to shift the balance of power into the hands of the people. We amplify community voices and offer leadership development and political education. We educate and mobilize our neighbors to become informed and active voters. We hold politicians accountable relentlessly. We campaign for good, family-sustaining jobs, strong and healthy communities, and corporate accountability.
Activist Job Responsibilities include: Fundraising, Establishing a positive rapport, Newly hired canvassers will work closely with the Team Leaders and the Canvass Director to learn how to canvass and fine tune their skills in outreach. Daily trainings are held to constantly build the skills of outreach workers.
Activist job qualifications include:
- Strong communication skills, work ethic, the ability to stand for long periods of time.
- Activist job team members must be able to work within a team, receive feedback, and adapt to rapidly
changing political and programmatic landscapes.
- Previous canvassing, sales, non profit job, or political campaign job experience is a plus.
- Pay and Benefits:
Hourly rate of $15 per hour;
Benefits available after 3 months of employment.
