Position Overview:
Time Out on Pine, a lively sports bar known for its vibrant atmosphere and excellent service, is
seeking a dynamic and experienced General Manager to lead our team. The ideal candidate will
be passionate about the hospitality industry, possess strong leadership skills, and have a proven
track record of managing a successful bar or restaurant. The General Manager will be
responsible for overseeing daily operations, ensuring high standards of customer service, and
driving financial success.

Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily operations of the sports bar, ensuring smooth and efficient service.
- Manage staff, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance evaluations.
- Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to enhance efficiency and
customer satisfaction.
- Monitor and manage financial performance, including budgets, cost control, and
profitability.
- Report directly to company owners / Directors
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain a clean, safe
environment.
- Develop and execute marketing and promotional strategies to increase customer
engagement and revenue.
- Handle customer complaints and feedback, striving to improve overall guest experience.
- Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of inventory and
supplies.
- Plan and organize special events, including sports screenings, themed nights, and
community events.
- Maintain a visible presence in the bar, engaging with customers and staff to foster a
positive atmosphere.

Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a management role within the hospitality industry,
preferably in a bar or restaurant setting.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Solid understanding of financial principles and business management.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Must be in-house a minimum of 5 days a week.
- Proficient in point-of-sale (POS) systems and other relevant software.
- Passion for sports and creating a lively, enjoyable atmosphere for guests.
