This is a brand new unit - it is still in shrink wrap. I bought this but never ended up installing it. It works for older style HVAC systems (no power wire needed because this unit is battery powered). With this unit you can use a Phone app (the app is called Sensi) to control the thermostat via Wifi or cellular data (even when you are not at home).
