St. David's Episcopal Day School is seeking 2 "after-school" teachers to assist with programming between the hours of 3:00 - 5:30 with children ages 18 months to 6.

Assist with the implementation of educational curriculum.
Support group age-appropriate activities that actively engage children and encourage social, cognitive and emotional growth.
Ensure all school policies and state regulations are met.
Ensure a healthy classroom environment – including maintaining appropriate hygiene and cleanliness standards and safety and security of children.
Maintain personal professional development plan to ensure continuous quality improvement.
Associates or Bachelor's degree in early childhood education.
minimum 1 year experience working as a teaching aide or assistant.
High energy, passionate about children, and self-starter.
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Ability to work well with others (staff, children, and parents) and to foster a team environment.
A strong understanding of child development.
Excellent leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
Infant/child CPR and First Aid certification.
Must clear full background check and must pass health screening.
