VINTAGE GDA FRANCE LIMOGES BOUILLON or SOUP CUP WITH SAUCER
There is a double mark on both cup and saucer. "GDA France" in Green and a "Limoges marking with a wreath around it" in Red. This means the cup and saucer were made at the GD manufacturing site and decorated by a GD artist.
GDA stands for Gerard, Dufraisseix & Abbott The GD stands for the factory in France. The A stands for Abbott who was the importer and distributor in NYC. The items were made from 1901-1941.
There is one fine bone china bouillon cup that is 2 inches high by 4 inches wide ( including the two handles)
The saucer is five and a half inches wide
The fine bone china is white with a pink flower garland design. Outer edge is gold with mint green delicate leaves with interspersed light pink bows. The inner circle of the plate is gold. The handles of the cup are burnished in gold.
There are no chips, cracks, discoloration or crazing.
