1995 Colnago Master Light 55 cm with the following components: Campagnolo Record 9-Speed rear derailleur, Campagnolo Record front derailleur, Campagnolo Chorus (53/39) crankset, Zipp 30 Clincher Wheels, Continental 4000 S II tires, Goccia pantographed stem, ITM Super Italia Pro-2 handlebars, Look CX 6 pedals, Mavic brakes, Mavic 315 headset, Mavic 330 seat post, and original San Marco Rolls Titanio saddle (currently fitted with a Giant Fleet SL for comfort).

The Master Light was Colnago's top-of-the-line model throughout the late 1980's and 1990's. It was handbuilt with diamond-shaped Columbus tubing called Gilco. The fork is the original straight blade, steeply raked, all-chrome Precisa Colnago fork. The hand-cut, chromed lugs display exceptional craftsmanship. The Colnago name and clover emblem appears on each side of the sloped crown. The exceptionally luminous paint is striking both in color and pattern. The opposite side of the top tube bears Ernesto Colnago's signature. The stays highlight the chrome with multi-colored transitions and clovers.

The cosmetic and mechanical condition is excellent. There are scattered minor paint chips; some components have minor scrapes typical of a 30-year-bike, the worst being a scrape at the top of the right brake lever. This is the perfect bicycle for use, but it could easily be converted into a show bicycle with minor restorations. If you are looking for a well-equipped steel frame it wuld be difficult to do better.
