And we are now adding a Bookkeeper / Administrative Assistant to grow our team.

The Details:

Salary Range: $27,500 - $30,000 per year

Status: Part-time Position

Schedule: Three (3) Days per Week. 8 am to 5 pm with 30 minutes for Lunch

Summary Description:

This newly created position of Bookkeeper / Administrative Assistant will help to keep the beat within the heart of the organization. This position is responsible for ensuring timely and accurate billing to tenants, payments to employees and vendors, organizing and maintaining office and personnel needs, and working closely with the owners of the company to manage cash flow for a group of growing affiliated companies.

Accounts Receivable

Invoice tenants for rent, expenses and any other billable items
Collect, deposit and post deposits
Review aged accounts receivable reports weekly
Resolve billing issues with tenants
Monitor and maintain rent increases and rent renewals
Maintain accounts receivable in Rent Manager & QuickBooks
Accounts Payable

Verify that all invoices have been approved for payment
Verify correct company to be charged
Verify correct general ledger account to be charged
Post invoices to QuickBooks
Generate checks for signature
Review of aged accounts payable reports weekly

Verify time sheets
Create payroll reports
Generate checks for signature

Collect and sort mail
File all paperwork
Assist management with special projects as needed

Proficiency in QuickBooks 2015 and beyond is required
Proficiency in Microsoft Office is required
Experience in real estate property management is preferred
5+ years office administration experience is preferred
