We are a consumer-insights researcher seeking an analyst highly familiar with medical issues and terminology to help us interpret qualitative data from a long-term, online focus group. This group is designed to help a medical association find innovation opportunities in a variety of medical areas. The community will run for at least three months, with approximately two activities a week for community members to complete. We need a writer/analyst to help prepare activity content, analyze responses, and draft client reports.
Specifically, we are looking for a smart, very reliable freelancer who is experienced in eliciting and analyzing qualitative responses and has a sharp eye for interesting insights. In addition, you must be an excellent writer and communicator, quick study, astute interpreter and synthesizer, great organizer, and detail-oriented project manager. Familiarity with medical issues and terminology required. Experience writing for medical personnel a big plus.
Specific tasks include:
-Help outline Editorial Calendar of activities
-Draft weekly activities, email, moderator letter, and announcements to community
-Analyze and report on activity response on a weekly basis
-Revise Editorial Calendar as needed throughout course of Club
-Help prepare monthly and final summary reports for client (PowerPoint presentation)
This is NOT a Web development position. All documents can be completed in MS Word, data downloads through Excel, and all formal reports prepared in PowerPoint. Must have reliable Web access.
This is remote freelance work, with no travel required, but does require weekly deliverables from you. We anticipate the job will take about 30-40 hours per month, with hours fairly evenly spread over the course of the month.
