Philly AIDS Thrift, the non-profit thrift store benefiting Philly area HIV/AIDS service organizations, depends on its loyal volunteer army to keep the store up and running seven days a week. To date, we have contributed $145,0.00 to local HIV/AIDS service providers. In addition to our cash contributions, we partner with those same service providers to distribute free store vouchers to their clients in need of clothing assistance and household necessities. We have three-hour slots to fill throughout the day seven days a week starting at noon, so if you've got some free time and like what we're doing, have some community service hours to fill or some school volunteer requirements, we have a time-slot with your name on it. Plus you get the volunteer discount on any store purchases AND you get invited to our volunteer parties and events! It's a relaxed and friendly environment so we think you'll feel right at home too.
