FUNCTION: <br>
Responsible for the maintenance and support of DB2 and IMS systems software in a ZOS mainfram<br>
environment along with vendor tools used to support the environment. <br>
This position reports to the Director of Data Base Administration.<br>
<br>
 RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES:<br>
1.Maintain current levels of the DB2 and IMS systems software by applying  maintenance releases <br>
   and performing version upgrades as necessary.<br>
2.Maintain current levels of the IBM and BMC vendor tools software used to support the <br>
    DBMS systems by applying  maintenance releases and performing version upgrades as necessary.<br>
3.Perform regular tuning of the DB2 and IMS systems using standard tuning practices as well as taking <br>
    advantage of new tuning techniques and enhancements whenever possible.<br>
4.Perform problem determination and resolution as needed as well as interacting with the DBMS vendors as required.<br>
5.Maintain adequate backup and recovery policies as well as testing these policies at  our Disaster Recovery site. <br>
6.Assist database administrators in implementation of changes and enhancements as needed.<br>
7.Monitor and assist database administration to resolve data base software 	problems.<br>
8.Provide support on DB2 distributed platform as needed.<br>
9.Participate in 24X7 on call pager rotation.<br>
10.Complete additional tasks as assigned.<br>
<br>
RECOMMENDED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:<br>
1.Knowledge of current DB2 and IMS systems software and sufficient technical knowledge of the 	<br>
    hardware and operating system to maintain an efficient DBMS environment is required.<br>
2.Knowledge and use of IBM and BMC vendor tools used to support the DBMS environment.<br>
3.Ability to communicate and listen effectively.    <br>
4.Ability to develop and document system backup and recovery procedures.<br>
5.Knowledge of database security theory and practice.<br>
6.College degree in Computer Science or equivalent.<br>
7.Five to ten years of related experience.<br>

Independently support the Brownfields and Land Revitalization Branch in the management of data for the Brownfields Grants Programs. Position Overview:<br>
<br>
The Help Desk Technician provides technical support to internal and external customers including workstation configuration, workstation support, Windows server support, user account maintenance and standard computer operations.<br>
<br>
<br>
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Other duties may be assigned.<br>
•	Perform day to day operations of the Help Desk area: Respond to telephone calls, help desk tickets, and email requests for service.  Provide technical assistance to resolve problems and document Resolutions. Troubleshoot hardware and software issues as they relate to desktops, laptops, security devices, printers, Fax machines, Scanners, PDA’s, and security appliances.<br>
•	Provide support for internally developed applications including installation, user access and basic troubleshooting.<br>
•	Escalate problems to the appropriate support teams when necessary.  Keep users informed as to the status of the resolution.<br>
•	Create and manage user accounts, and user access permissions.<br>
•	Maintain Systems Documentation.<br>
•	Identify areas that create larger than expected work load for Help Desk and create remedial documentation to provide training for end-users.<br>
•	Identify, capture and analyze information reported to the Help Desk that may indicate trends or patterns of larger issues.<br>
•	Manage inventory of equipment for internal and external users.  Work with IT management to maintain an appropriate inventory of equipment for deployment and replacement.<br>
<br>
Requirements:  (Knowledge, Skills, Experience): <br>
•	Experience with end user support, help desk duties, troubleshooting hardware and software issues,  repairing hardware and software issues  and training users in      the use of hardware and software<br>
•	Must be proficient with Microsoft Access, Word, Excel, Internet Explorer, Windows XP, and various other company supported software<br>
•	Knowledge of Help Desk software to track and document his/her work<br>
•	Knowledge of Norton Ghost a plus<br>
•	Experience with IP phones, in particular Mitel 3300 series a plus<br>
•	Operating Systems: Microsoft Windows Server 2003, Microsoft Windows XP<br>
•	Must be detail orientated and able to take a job to successful conclusion<br>
•	Must be able to work independently or as part of a team and be able to multitask effectively<br>
•	Must have excellent interpersonal, verbal and written skills <br>
•	Ability to effectively communicate with both technical and non-technical individuals at all levels of the organization<br>
•	Must be willing to work flexible hours. <br>
•	Light to medium physical work may be required <br>
•	Minimum 1-2 years working as a help desk technician in a medium-large scale business environment.<br>

The position will be based at the co-op's offices in Mt. Airy, but will involve travel to our other locations as well.  <br>

GENERAL DESCRIPTION <br>
Responsible for managing a service territory. Provides effective, proficient, and timely service and repairs to all customers in direct support of the sales and service efforts to gain and maintain customer loyalty. Manages service requirements and business for both the EMS and Bed & Stretcher organizations. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS <br>
1. Repair equipment according to Stryker Medical specifications and perform all required quality control checks and preventive maintenance in accordance with the products operation manual. <br>

<description><![CDATA[A mid-sized publishing company near Philadelphia looking for an IT Manager to be responsible for the design, development, maintenance, and support of the information systems.  Major responsibilities include:  <br>
<br>
-     Hardware: Oversee the purchasing and the maintenance of hardware for Networking, Server, Data storage and back-up, Desktop/client processing<br>
<br>
-     Software: Ensuring all software needs are properly accommodated (OS, MS Office, Database, Anti-virus, e-mail and spam filter<br>
<br>
-     Database Management: Develop and maintain internal data<br>
<br>
-     Website administration: Lead the development of a new and improved website<br>
<br>
-     Networking: Create, maintain, and support the security of networks, and adapt networks to accommodate changing needs and to achieve peak functionality<br>
<br>
-     Systems administration<br>
<br>

We are looking for candidates with:<br>
<br>
-     At least 3 years of IT experience, preferably as a manager (Degree in IT not required)<br>
<br>
-     Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics<br>
