It is made of magnesium allow so it�s very tough and difficult to scratch, the latch on the LCD screen is a bit broken so the screen doesn�t close tight but it does not affect the functionality of the laptop whatsoever. This is JUST the hardrive for the computer - I do have an older Compaq monitor if you want it - otherwise you will need a monitor. This hard drive runs Windows Vista Home Premium, has 1024 MB system memory, NVIDIA graphics, and lightscribe DVD writer. It includes all paperwork, discs, and keyboard and mouse as well. However, the computer may need to ber serviced. It crashed and I cannot get it to recover at all. That is why I am asking for not much for this because I know that it will most likely cost a bit to have it taken to somewher elike Best Buy to figure out what is wrong with it. Once it is fixed, it used to run very fast and was excellent for gaming. Any more info, let me know. Specs can be found for the computer here

I have a beautiful HP Touchsmart PC that was bought a year ago from Best Buy for 1600 with tax (I still have the receipt). This computer was great, but it crashed, and I bought a new laptop so I am just trying to sell this now. It WILL need to be fixed - I have tried to recover the computer many times and cannot get it to work.
