I am looking for a single mother or small family that would could help us out for the next 6 months. My 12 y.o. son and I are planning a move in the summer, but in the meantime need a safe, clean place to stay. I am a 31 year old woman with a 12 year old son, who is planning a move out of the state in June, but need temporary housing until we are ready to leave. I am looking for one or two rooms for 6-8 months, perferably with a woman, single mother or family. I am open to a situation where I could pay partially in money, and the other part in some (legal) service ie; household cleaning, babysitting or the like as well. I have a squeaky clean criminal record and do have many personal and professional references.
I work in center city, attend classes at CCP and my son goes to school at 7th and walnut, so location is key for us, we would need to be close to a major mode of transportation. My son is sort of shy, into nature and science, chess and skateboarding. He has a lot of afterschool activities and we are always busy so we will not be in the way, but are friendly and warm, and would mesh well in a family or family like environment. We are clean and quiet, just looking for a clean safe place to be for the next few months. I am looking to move December 1st, 2009.
