Hello. I am in the process of starting a group for people in recovery from alcohol and/or drug addictions. I need a place to hold educational workshops, discussions, etc. I know there are many churches that rent out rooms for AA groups, so I am hoping to find a church or other business that would like to help us out. I need to find a meeting place before I start the group, so I have no idea whether or not the group will end up being successful or not. If it all works out as planned I'd like to find a place to rent out twice a week in the evening, for 1-2 hours per night. Money is definitely a concern since I will be providing this group free of charge to the members. I'm looking for something very cheap, or looking to possibly do some type of volunteer work for your organization in return for the meeting space.
