Hi! SEPTA went on strike and that got me in a lot of trouble commute-wise. I'd really love to get a ride to or near work.

I live on Catharine St between 51st and 52nd, and I'm trying to get to Haverford Road and Manoa Road in Wynnewood in the morning for 8:45... that's Haverford Road just past City Line.

I'm somewhat flexible on the time of departure, AND I'm flexible on where I need to be picked up or dropped off. I'd just like to get closer to work. Right now it's a 90 minute walk and my feet are starting to blister.

If you are also driving from West Philly in the mornings out that way, I'd love to discuss carpooling. I'm very willing to throw some money for the ride, but I obviously can't afford taxi service prices or else I'd be calling a taxi company; I hope you understand.

Hi!

I am a professional student trying to get to and from class in Elkins Park/Jenkintown during the strike. I have been trying to travel by regional rail, but it has been taking me 5 hours total to commute per day! I really need good grades and I feel like this strike and travelling is taking so much energy away from me that I don't feel prepared for class and there are tons of exams. SEPTA already made me VERY close to missing an exam that would have been very difficult to reschedule, if anyone can help a poor student, that would be so kind.

I would pay for gas money or pay in terms of home cooking, since I would actually have time to make delicious meals if I weren't traveling all day long.

I can present you my school ID/government ID as proof of identity.

since this septa strike looks like it will be lasting longer than i thought, hopefully i may be able to help a person or two get to work easier. i just moved to tennis ave in bensalem (adalusia officially) and work in port richmond, philadelphia. i leave my home at 6 every morning to be at work by 7 and pick up a coworker from 5th and washington every morning. we leave work around 3-4 every day to drop him off and so i can head back home. the closest RR stop to me is either Torresdale or Cornwell Heights, so this advert is directed at those that take trains into center city from those stops. I have a station wagon with 3 extra spaces and would only ask for gas money.

I live in NE philly and work at Temple, Monday-Friday 8-5 pm. I avoid I-95 and usually travel by way of Frankford Avenue. If you need a ride, please let me know.
