SALES ASSOCIATE - Immediate openings for: BRUCE SPRINGSTEEN EXHIBIT STORE AND GALLERY. Historic Philadelphia Museum. on Independence Mall hosting the Bruce Springsteen Exhibit: From Asbury Park to the Promise Land, The life and Music of Bruce Springsteen. Exhibit opens mid February, 2012 and runs through early September, 2012. We are looking for staff with excellent knowledge of Bruce Springsteen his life and music. Responsibilities include but are not limited to Customer Service, cash handling, maintaining store standards, merchandising, store stocking and replenishment. The position requires excellent customer service skills, and the ability to interact with Museum guests/patrons. Prior retail experience in a Museum Retail Store, Exhibit Store, and/or Gallery desirable. This is a part time position and requires a flexible work schedule including weekends, holidays and some evenings. Museum is open 7 days a week. Hours: Monday - Friday 9:30 AM - 5:00 PM, Saturday 9:30 AM -6:00 PM, Sunday 9:30 AM - 5:00 PM. Extended Summer Operating Hours Begin Memorial Day: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM, Thursday 9:30 AM - 8:00 PM, Saturday 9:00 AM - 6:30 PM, Sunday 9:30 - 5:30 PM. Operating hours subject to change based on Museum needs.
