I received a letter from my brother in the House of Corrections. He does not want to be released until Spring or Summer because he does not have a coat or decent shoes. He is going thru a program that deals with Drug and Alcohol abuse and it sounds like he is talking to a chaplain of some sort. He is going to have to go on welfare and receive medical assistance when he gets out.

I do not feel sorry for him. He chose this path about 100 times. I felt sorry for him in 2001 when I let him stay in my house. He tried to seduce my friend who was staying overnight and left. I did not hear from him for about a year. He was married for 5 years at that time. He went to stay with a woman he met on line and later contracted Hep C from. He went back to his wife. Fast forward to 2008, he and his wife broke up and he stayed at my house. He did not look for a job. Tried to move in his skanky white trash girlfriend. He did not pay a cent toward anything. He did a little work. Very little. He drank and did drugs outside the house and stayed in our garage thinking that was ok because he was not near my family while intoxicated. We threw him out. He went to live with skanky girlfriend. Got into a fight with her and went out drinking and driving. Assulted a police officer (well tried but fell). They found drugs in his car (pot or something) and since Feb he has been in prison. He has written to me trying to guilt me into giving him money. I bailed him out before and he was supposed to go to a halfway house and instead harrassed his ex-wife. My family was pissed at me so I said no more. My husband said no more and if I give him one red cent he will divorce me. I do not blame him.

He has been in jail more times than I can count. The man is 45 has 2 children and 2 GRANDCHILDREN. When will he learn?

Ironically, he has the same birthday as the president.

This is an example of the welfare system being abused. This guy had a house, a wife and was doing well and threw it all away on drugs and alcohol. Same guy who used the system in 92 with his first wife. I thought he was over all that bull. Nope. He got together with wife #2 and she straightened him out to a point. Until he decided alcohol and drugs were more important.

People call me cruel. They say You do for family. You should offer him your house. You should support him. I have enough to support.

So tell me, D. Tell me Mork. Tell me Conspiracy, Citizen, TLS. Am I wrong to cut him off?
