Hello! My brother and sister in law have been thrown out by my in-laws (mom and dad). We are in the process of getting them moved in upstairs, but there is a small period in which they will be misplaced. Their cat, Eliza, is still at my in-laws' house. I would really like to save her, but with 3 male cats of my own, there is no way to put Eliza in my house. I don't trust the parents to take care of her, and I would really like to not have to have my brother in law give Eliza up to the SPCA. I need someone to cat-sit for a few weeks. A month tops. Please email me ASAP so we can get Eliza out of that house, my in-laws would be all too happy to get rid of her. I've added some pics of Eliza.

I live in West Philly on a some very nice people's porch, they feed me and Call me SNICKER-DOODLE. They brought me a carpet lined box to sleep in but I'm afriad that it might get too cold for even that to help me. They say I can borrow a carrier to ride in if you want to come get me so I can live in your house! They said they would even bring me to you if you are a person who can't come to get me. I'm very affectionate and I keep my self very clean even though I live out side. They have been feeding me since I showed up meowing to them about how hungery I was last March when my family abandoned me in thier neighborhood. I've put on some weight again since then and I am ALL BOY so I might need to go to the Vet and be checked out. I have two foster cats who are all ready to go to a new forever home where they can be the center of attention! Both cats are all black with shiny hair and beautiful hazel/green eyes.

Samantha is the older one and is probably about 1-2 yrs old. She is absolutely gorgeous and so sweet. Sadly, she was dumped on a street in Philadelpia while she was pregnant! Her kitties did not survive but she is now inside and being well cared for but would really like a home of her own. She is living with 6 foster kitties and takes such good care of them all, she is really gentle with them, treating them as though she was really their mommy. Sammy has been fixed and got her rabies and distemper shots as well as her flea treatment so she is all set to find her own home!

Lucky is a little black shiny kitty, super adorable and playful. Lucky was found living outside and was so little and tiny he probably wouldn't have made it on his own to much longer. He has a great appetite and uses the litter box religiously. He is getting neutered tomorrow and will get his shots and flea treatment as well so will be ready to go to a new home by the weekend.

Although Samantha and Lucky are not related they have really bonded and it would be awesome if a kind soul would consider taking the cute little kitty and a slightly older (although still quite young) cat. The adoption fee for Samantha is $25 and the adoption fee for Lucky is $50. The adoption fee goes toward the vet services and all the vet paperwork will be provided.

Please consider giving these cats the best present ever, a HOME for the HOLIDAYS!

This is "Little One". She's almost three. She's incredibly friendly, smart, a great mouser, and very well behaved.
My girlfriend and I often refer to her as our third dog. She goes for routine walks with me and my two small dogs each morning. She's not de-clawed but she doesn't pick at furniture. She loves to hop into bed with you and is great with kids and adults. She communicates very well as she is very vocal from time to time. We're looking for someone who can provide her a home full of love and well deserved attention. She's a great cat and it kills me to have to give her up.

Caroline is a 3 year old tortie cat who is seeking a new home. She was left behind when her previous owners moved away. But this was not the first hard time in Caroline's short life. When she was younger, she was run over by a truck on Roosevelt Blvd. She recovered, miraculously, and now the only scar she has to show for it is a slightly crooked appearance which just makes her even cuter.

Snuggly little cat needs a home

Feather first found us when she was four months old and starving. She was too weak to mew, and you could see every rib. Now, at six months, Feather is healthy and adorable. She's been spayed, flea treated, de-wormed, and tested for FIV and FELV (both negative). She is litter box trained, is good with dogs and every person she's met.
She is very affectionate and snuggly, and loves being in laps, sleeping nestled against her people at night, and nuzzling hands and faces with tiny kisses. We would keep her in a heart beat, except for her one issue.
Feather is very threatened by cats. We don't know if she had some bad experiences while she was alone out there, but for whatever reason, Feather cannot live agreeably with other cats, and we've got three. Feather instigates fights with our cats, which she always loses, along with fur and blood. :( We've had to lock off our small apartment into two zones to avoid literal bloodshed, and no one is happy.
We want our little girl to be safe and loved. She's come so far in the past two months, and deserves a home and people all her own.
We're asking a $30 adoption fee to cover a little of the vet bills we've invested in our little kitty, and we will happily send her off with food, litter box and litter.

She is not a barker, she doesn't shed (terrier/pits usually don't) shes not a chewer and she has never bitten anyone
Also she has had two doses of Heartworm Medication - she is good until November of 2010
She gets Frontline once a month, on the 16th.

I bought this setup used to house a pair of snakes I decided against getting. I've held on to it for a while, but it looks like I won't be getting them any time soon, so I've decided to get rid of the stuff, since I'm being hounded to clear out the garage. I got this set up used and in AWESOME condition like 6 months ago.

I'm asking what I paid for it: $150 for the lot. This is a great deal (which is why I jumped on it in the first place). It includes:

- 40 Gallon tank
- Black lacquered 40 gallon tank stand. Front opens.
- 1 plastic tank divider; sturdy but can be removed easily
- 2x heat lights
- 2x small under tank heaters
- Green astro turf cut to fit tank floor
- Some tank accessories (logs, bowls, etc)

Again, I have not used this, though i tested everything back when I got it and it worked great. Glass is clean and unscratched, have not tested for holding water since I planned on putting in reptiles. I won't be selling anything separately; it must go as a lot.

This setup would be fantastic for housing a pair of almost any small reptile, or take out the divider and use it for one of your bigger guys. I hate to let it go since I know I'd use it a year down the road, but space (and money) is tight. Must be able to pick up around Doylestown; the tank is a 40 gal breeder (meaning it is long, not high) and the stand is pretty hefty; bring something with plenty of room to move it. Cash only.

I have several hamsters that are ready to go to new homes. Some of them are beautiful sapphire winter white hamsters. I have two boys who are brothers and live together (would prefer if they stayed that way), and are about 8 weeks old. I also have some older (6 months) Campbells Russian dwarf girls who must live ALONE and would be best in a home with older children. One is Normal colored and the other is Opal. I also have one special black and white spotted girl who was the runt of the litter and is a bit nippy. If you wouldn't mind continuing to work with her, she would make a fine pet.

These guys are very friendly. They have been handled since a few days after they were born, have never, ever bitten (except for the black and white one), and are just adorable.

Dwarf hamsters make great pets for kids and adults alike. As always please do your research before bringing a new pet home. I will be happy to answer any questions you have regarding their care.

I am charging a rehoming fee of $8 each to ensure they do not become snake food. You can take two home for $15. I have several SMALL home-made plastic/screen-topped bin cages with water bottles I could let go, and several small silent spinner wheels. Cages with water bottles are $10 each (though I would recommend a larger bin for permanently housing your hamsters) and wheels are $5 each (sell for $10 new). If you can send me a picture of the home you have prepared, I may be willing to lower or eliminate the re-homing fee on the older girls.

I'm not sure if this is allowed but here goes! I adopted my puggle about a year and a half ago when she was 10 weeks old via a girl on this site. She had gotten little Bella from a breeder in Oklahoma City and had her shipped to the East Coast. Well, after about a week of having her, her then-owner was forced to place little Bella for adoption and posted her on on Craig's list. I fell in love with her picture and adopted her immediately. (Her former owner made sure she was going to a loving home!).

My roommates and I have been fostering two kittens from the Philadelphia Animal Welfare Society. They are five months old and still really playful and cute (see pictures for evidence). They have had all their shots and been spayed and neutered. They are well-behaved, docile (they even let us trim their nails), snuggley, used to small children, and will play with other animals. We wish we could keep them, but unfortunately we're all leaving the country when we graduate! We have all the supplies you'll need (toys, litterbox, foodboxes). Boots and Socks were found as babies in a backyard in South Philadelphia. They were rescued by the Philadelphia Animal Welfare Society (PAWS) and have been living with me in foster care since they were 6 weeks old. They are now about 12 weeks and almost ready to go to their �Forever Home�.

Boots is an all black domestic short hair kitten who loves to just cuddle up on your lap. He will sit with you while you work on your computer or watch TV. He is such a cuddle bug and a true purr machine.

Socks is a black with white paws domestic short hair kitten. He is the more adventurous of the two. He will play all day and check out every object in the house. But when he�s finally pooped out, he�ll cuddle up with you and purr away the night.

I would really like to see these 2 go to the same home as they have truly bonded during their short lives together, but would be open to separating them if need be. Both Boots and Socks will be up to date on their shots and neutered before going to their �forever home�. The adoption fee is $75 which goes directly to PAWS. Kittens with colds cannot stay in the shelter. Giving medication and some extra TLC is just what this group of sweet kittens needs. Once they are old enough for surgery you set up an appointment to bring them in. Once altered, you can find adopters for them yourself (marketing kittens is easy, and we can help!) or maybe get them into one of our off-site adoption locations!

What do foster parents need to provide?
Foster parents must provide shelter, food, litter and love until the cat/kittens can be adopted out.

What does ACCT provide?
ACCT will provide all vet care and medicine needed at our facility, everyday. The ACCT Life Saving Department will provide support and information on bottle-feeding, raising kittens, marketing animals for adoption, etc.

Who should foster?
Although previous fostering experience is not required, ideal foster care provider will have basic knowledge of animal care and training and be committed to finding their foster animal a safe and loving �forever home�. If you have a spare room in your house please consider helping us to get these adorable kitties out!

Hey Everyone!

Last night my husband and I were up late decorating our home for xmas when this cutie pie came walking right up to us for attention. All orange tabby with some darker orange stripes and white paws. Very lovable, affectionate kitty. Can tell that this little one came from a lovable home. I am sure a family is missing this one and would love to reunite this kitty to their rightful family/owner! We took the kitty into our home around 2-3am this morning and combed (didnt see any fleas) and gave some fresh food and water. Not really dirty either so I am assuming that she has not been missing for long. We didn't see a collar on either, unless one fell off. Not sure...

Volunteer foster parents are crucial to the survival of our young kittens, as foster care provides a safe place for the animals to recover and find good adoptive homes, and frees up much needed space at the shelter for other needy animals. As the warm weather approaches and �kitten season� rolls in, ACCT will receive more and more kittens too young to be adopted out yet that need foster care until they are old enough for spay/neuter surgery. We especially need foster homes for momma cats with young nursing kittens, and for orphaned newborns that need to be bottle fed. We also need foster homes for young kittens without mothers who are eating on their own. Once they are old enough for surgery you set up an appointment to bring them in. Once altered, you can find adopters for them yourself (marketing kittens is easy, and we can help!) or maybe get them into one of our off-site adoption locations!

What do foster parents need to provide?
Foster parents must provide shelter, food, litter and love until the cat/kittens can be adopted out.

What does ACCT provide?
ACCT will provide all vet care and medicine needed at our facility, everyday. The ACCT Life Saving Department will provide support and information on bottle-feeding, raising kittens, marketing animals for adoption, etc.

Who should foster?
Although previous fostering experience is not required, ideal foster care provider will have basic knowledge of animal care and training and be committed to finding their foster animal a safe and loving �forever home�. If you have a spare room in your house please consider helping us to get these adorable kitties out!

We agreed to foster 1 year old Mommy Lucy and her 6 week old little boy Linus when they were one hour away from being euthanized due to their kitty colds. Within a few days they were perfectly healthy, and have become the sweetest kitties you could imagine. Gray and white Lucy is very low maintenance. All she asks for is a bowl of her favorite dry food, a water dish, and someone to scratch her head a few times a day so she can purr and show her love. Linus is all kitten....all he wants to do is eat, sleep, and play!!

With all they have been through, they are very bonded and we would really like to adopt them out together. The good news is that since they are mother and son, you can get both for the ACCT adoption fee of $75.00! Lucy and Linus have already been neutered, microchipped, UTD on all shots, and tested negative for FELV. Hi there, my name is Margie and I'm searching for a nice home. I was recently homeless and alone, but now I'm safe and sound in my foster mom's house. I like living with her and the other cats, but I still wish for a permanent home of my own. Everybody wants a place to call home and I hope I find mine really soon. I'm extremely easy going and very friendly. I'm a calm girl and I get along very well with other cats and even dogs too. I serioulsy don't think you will find a calmer cat than me. I love to purr and pat my paws at people when I'm content. My foster mom laughs when I do that. I also have this chirpy sound I make when I'm happy and my foster mom laughs at too. I sure keep her smiling, let me tell ya. Anyway, please consider me in your search for a new furry companion because I don't ask for much at all and I really want a friend. Please give me a chance.

I have to say that you're not making yourself look good from a business point of view. Whatever it is that you do, keep on doing it. So what if people flag you...post again. Do a little growing up. Our latest two PAWS foster kittens are ready to find their forever homes. They are two very sweet black and white boys (tuxedo, approx. 12weeks old.) who would love to be your best friend! Both are social with our two large dogs - in fact, they love our dogs. They have also been socialized with our cat, so a home with other animals would suit them just fine! Adoption fee of $75 to Philadelphia Animal Welfare Society to cover all of the medical care they have received thus far.

This is our super friendly rescue pup in need of a home. He is about 6mos old, utd on all shots & neutered. He is really friendly, loves all people, dogs & cats. He really, really loves children! We believe he is a Chi/Jack mix but that is just a guess. We think he will be about 15-20 lbs full grown. He is loves walks and will stay right by your side even when off leash. We are hoping that a family w/children will consider this little guy to welcome him into their family before the holidays.
