Ibanez RGR421EXFM, no issues at all. Working electronics, kept in a smoke free environment, treated well, never dropped. The guitar is like-new 9 out of 10! There are very minor buckle swirls on the back and you have to look closely to see it. It's only on the clearcoat, so a polish and buff will take it right out. No dings or scratches at all, except for the minor buckle rash. Never gigged.. I have higher res pics if you need them, please feel free to contact me with any questions..

As a gear flipper myself, I spend time on HC, TGP, Tele forum, E-bay, among others, and see what stuff is selling for, and most of the stuff on here just makes me laugh. If I see something I want, I offer the going rate regardless of what you are asking. It's part of the game. As a seller, I haven't had what I would consider to be a "lowballer" in over a year. Maybe it's because I'm flexible and charge what's fair.

But the bottom line is, you're not a retail store, no matter how "new in the box" your item is. If you come on CL to sell something and are not willing to negotiate, you might as well go mud wrestling and not expect to get dirty. If you don't like the rules, don't play the game.

Sounds great on bass as well. speakers have a nice smooth overdrive characteristic. I've had it for 5 years with minimal use, only short recording time. No gigs and no abuse.

Contrary to unpopular belief, it is NOT destructive to have bass going through the guitar cab. It's only a problem if you overload the power/impedance/and frequency response. This cab has been well taken care of. It has been stored in a clean, climate controlled home. The house is in Whitehall, PA. It's very heavy so unfortunately I won't be able to transport it. I bought it when I drove a 2000 Honda CR-V and even then I had a hard time lifting it in there. You are welcome to come listen to it. SERIOUS INQUIRIES ONLY PLEASE :)

Then factor in that some retailers like Sweetwater and Mercenary Audio have extraordinary warranties on new items sold. Sweetwater automatically gives you 2 years of no-hassle warranty. I've used it. They're amazing. I had a piece break after 6 months and they instantly issued me a call tag and shipped me a new unit the same day I called! How much is that worth?

The point is, "used" is used. If a unit is perfect it's still used and the value is still degraded unless you can guarantee transfer of the warranty. So yeah, there are low-ballers and people who don't read the fine print in the ads but there are also a LOT of people on here with unreasonable expectations. I'd say it's probably about even between the 2 groups.

As for the original question - it's not only because of low-ballers that people don't respond. Sometimes they just get too many freakin' emails. Maybe they made their sale and don't want to deal with it any more. Who cares?

FWIW I've met a bunch of really cool people buying on CL.....and one or two a-holes. Better ratio than the general population.

Other then that, this synth works beautifully and still has tons of preset sounds to select from.
Its aggressive and harsh, but can sound peaceful when you want it to. Think of this as an angry Juno 60

It's in good physical condition, just a bit dusty. One cracked key that was repaired, but it works fine. Of course you can make your final decision once you see the synth.
I'll bring some equipment during the 'trade' to hook it up to my cars speakers to prove it works perfectly.

Up for sale is a pearl series double chain double bass pedal. This pedal is in excellent condition as you can see in the pictures below. The only issues with the pedal would be some light fading on the main pedal. a little bit of the black inlay has worn away. The slave beater is missing the locking nut. You can see both of these in the pictures below. The pedal works great. Very smooth. The pedal will come with the pearl QUAD beaters as shown in the picture. I have had this head for 3 years and it's been in the flight case since I bought it. Case has front and back removable panels for easy set up/take down for sets and it never has to leave the case!

Specifications on the Trace Elliot are as follows:

The SWR Goliath III is 8 ohms 700 watts. Cosmetically its a bit beat up but still sounds amazing, a real work horse.

I am looking to get $600 for the Trace Elliot and $200 for the SWR.

Aside from the output needing replacement, it's a very good guitar and has not been gigged with, and kept in a smoke-free environment. It's in excellent condition and very easy to play. This is a great deal if you're looking for an affordable guitar for a beginner and don't care about running it through an amp. (If you do, you have the option of getting it repaired, just be prepared to wait a few weeks for Ibanez to send you the parts, and then you'd have to take it to a guitar tech to have them installed properly. I would estimate a cost of roughly $150 tops when all is said and done.)

I would expect you to meet me at my apartment in Wayne (located on Lancaster Ave.) and pay in cash, in bills no larger than $20.
