Dynamic organization seeking personable and detail-oriented individual for our Philadelphia location
Responsiblities:
Administer all aspects of weekly and bi-weekly payrolls
Process new hire, status change and termination paperwork
Audit monthly benefit invoices and approve for payment
Coordinate annual benefit plan renewals and enrollments
Track and report all changes in benefit plans to providers
Respond to benefit inquiries from managers and employees
Maintain employee personnel files
Ensure compliance with union contracts and reporting requirements
Prepare allocation and billing reports
Process garnishments, employee verifications, unemployment claims
Plan and facilitate employee events
Assist with the recruiting and hiring process
Maintain HR policies manual
Other duties and special projects as required
Qualifications:
Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task
Ability to adhere to and meet deadlines
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Enthusiastic, motivated, and outgoing personality
Working knowledge of ADP highly desired
Two years experience in payroll and/or human resources preferred
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field a plus.
Experience using Microsoft Excel and Word
