Hello Parents & Student-Athletes: I want to invite you to host a NCAA College Recruiting Workshop at your home for friends and family that have student-athletes in high school or middle school that are looking to play at the collegiate level. This seminar is exclusive for parents and student-athletes. Although, I have conducted these several hundred times in Chicago, IL; Miami, FL; Dallas, TX and other suburbs around Pennsylvania and southern New Jersey....it seems as though the athletic directors and coaches that influence the lives of student-athletes don't care to have their players know how to get to the next level because they feel that they don't want to pump their heads with fantasies...how unfortunate. So, our staff has decided to open up communications on craigslist, other referrals, and exclusive to our program participants to invite them to either host a seminar at someone's home or to organize one through the parents, parents associations, booster clubs, and concerned parents that want the best for their children. My goal is to education parents and student-athletes on what it takes to get a scholarship and graduate high school "ON-TIME!"
If you would like to host a seminar, here are the things that are required:
1) Set a date and time for everyone to come to the home or location. Typically times are 6pm-8pm. All home seminars are done before 9pm.
2) Decide on ways to cover the fee. Either ask an employer to sponsor; or collect $25 per family of 3 or $10 per person;
or or get sponsors on your own with our sponsor program.
3) Invite friends and family that have student-athletes in grades 7-12.
Typically, 25% should be middle school student-athletes, 25% underclassmen in high school, and 50% seniors.
4) Prepare snacks, finger foods, and drinks for your guests
What I'll be brining to the host location is an All-inclusive set-up:
1) Projector, screen
2) Reading materials for all attendees
3) After presentation there will be a Question & Answer period
