Prior to hiring, I would like to see your portfolio and/or sample garments.
Again, you will have to know how to produce garments from the sketch as patterns will not be provided for you, therefore such knowledge is needed (skills such as draping, suit tailoring, lingerie, handbag and shoes are all a plus...but not all required in one person). The samples you will be producing will be within the 4-6 women's size for dress and shoes between 7-8. Men clothing sizes will be European cut, so specific measurements will be provided per garment.

This project is for my senior thesis, and the shoot will take place in a safe, completely private studio on the University of Pennsylvania’s campus.

We are a non-profit sponsored arts project in Center City, Philadelphia that has grown to the point where we occasionally have back-to-back shoots (some out of town, primarily NYC) or shoots that overlap. Currently there is just one volunteer photographer.
Prime event season is summer into fall, so we are starting now, in search of someone with a very special set of skills..
This is a great opportunity for someone looking to take a different route to an art career (public art) and learn a lot about how an art non-profit works. We will set you up to succeed, making sure you have the right equipment and materials (which we provide) as well as thorough training. The work is demanding and occasionally fast paced, but you are also in control both logistically and creatively. Transportation expenses are paid as well.
Hair and makeup not provided--going for a natural, less is more feeling. If you have a suit/tux and a wedding/bridesmaid dress--a big plus, but not a deal breaker.
The screenplay is 82 pages long, but it's not in the traditional block style format. So we're probably looking at a 2+ hour long animation. This will take time! But as of right now, I have a cast/crew of close to 40 people ready to work on this. We are taking this seriously.
Also, since this is purely independent, as of right now, there is no pay. But upon completion, we will be sending this to as many American film festivals as possible.
